Yesterday, I enjoyed a quick end-of-year connect with a neighbor at a local pub (Word of Beer – best Happy Hour in town!).
This was after a morning “pop up” chat session over at Main Street Connect‘s new deli and sandwich shop (The Bean Bag).
And throughout the day – in moments of both work and play – smiles, nods, waves, and neighborly gestures and statements of good will were many, and authentic.
Here’s the thing, though: I am sure other folks can say the same about their spaces and places!
So – my hope for 2026 is this: let’s choose to notice and engage in and amplify the ever-so-nifty truths that are blessings in our communities, especially during these challenging times.
Peace matters, and so do you!
