"Make Peace the News!"
Mattie’s Peace Foundation’s “Parters4Peace” joined Dr. Jeni Stepanek (Foundation President known as “Mama Peace”) to spread peace in the community during FOX5 TV’s August 2026 “ZipTrip” morning in Rockville, Maryland.
“I loved that the Mattie Stepanek Peace Foundation had the opportunity to ‘make peace the news! – one of our mottoes – at the The Square Rockville,” Stepanek said. “And I love, love, loved that so many community members – especially from Upcounty Community Resources, Inc. (UCR ) and Main Street Connect – chose to “just show up” in their peace shirts and with joyful enthusiasm to support our mission!”
