An extra exciting #MamaPeaceChat took place on Tuesday, December 17 at Main Street Connect’s Soulfull Cafe!

The lunchtime gathering began with a conversation about some of the religious and cultural differences between Hanukkah, Christmas, and Kwanzaa… then continued with further discussion about how they are also the same in many ways – symbols of light in darkness and hope in challenging times, and celebrations that involve family and friends and food and song and more...

The participants concluded the chat by considering the importance of “generosity” – and how giving is healing – for us and for others.

And then – woohoo! – special guests were introduced – Trianna Beckwith of Rockville Peace Rocks and her daughter Lillyanna – who guided the group in creating our own gifts of hope and peace!

Mama Peace was grateful to the dozens of folks who who attended the holiday season session (a full room!), and also to Tree and Lilleeana for their kindness and generosity and for sharing their Heartsong talents and gifts!
